AUCTION INSIGHT

by Donna Hogan
When it comes to jobs, big and small, there is no other piece of equipment more valuable than a skid-steer loader.
Short history of the skid-steer loader:
Louis and Cyril Keller of Rothsay, Minnesota, invented the first skid-steer loader in 1957 to help a local turkey farmer clean his barn. In 1958, Melroe Manufacturing purchased the rights to this invention and hired the Keller brothers to refine it. Thus the M200 self-propelled loader was born. This invention would later become known as the skid-steer loader that we know today.
