AUCTION INSIGHT

by Donna Hogan
As the summer begins to wind down, equipment auctioneers are working hard to get in the last few outdoor auctions for the year.
Auction results for 160-plus tractors, large and small, were gathered from recent auctions throughout the U. S. At these auctions, most tractors sold were within the $ 40,000- $ 50,000 price range.
A few exceptions included a 2015 John Deere 7210R that brought $ 220,000 at an Iowa auction. A 2006 John Deere 8330T sold for $ 147,500 at another Iowa auction and a 2022 New Holland T5.120 dual Command reached $ 81,500 in Tennessee. The final model to reach over $ 70,000 is this Kubota M7-151( year unavailable) that sold for 74,960 at a Pennsylvania auction.

$ 68,000 at a Georgia auction. Three M5-111 Kubota tractors( 2018, 2019, 2021) sold at Pennsylvania auctions brought $ 20,500, $ 30,000 and $ 55,500, respectively. A pair of 1991 Case-IH tractors sold for $ 29,925 and $ 19,000 at an auction in Iowa.
When attending an auction, it is always good to do your homework and know what others have recently paid.
