USING THE TABLES
USING THE TABLES
The tables shown have been provided to help assess a more specific value based on certain factors of the actual machine.
Below is an example of how to utilize and apply the tables. The example shows a 2001 John Deere tractor, model 4400, with 4500 hours.
EXAMPLE
Step 1- Find the model of your tractor in the book. Step 2- Determine the horsepower of your tractor.
Step 3- Find where the horsepower and year of your tractor bi-sect in the table below.( FIG. 1)
Step 4- Subtract the actual hours of the machine from the number you found in STEP 3.
6300( from step 3)- 4500( actual) = 1800 hours
Step 5- Multiply the difference from Step 4( 1800) by your tractor’ s coinciding factor in the hourly adjustment table.( FIG. 2)
1800( from step 4) x 1.4( Fig 2)) = $ 2,520
Step 6- Add the amount from STEP 5 to the retail price found at the back of the book( when available).
STEP 2
Retail: $ 2,520( from step 5) + $ 7,896 = $ 10,416
NOTE: If the hours of your tractor are greater than those shown in the table, subtract this final calculated figure from the retail pricing shown. If the hours are less, add this value to the pricing.
